We had the opportunity to join Cito Transport Technologies at Bits & Pretzels 2024 in Munich. The three-day event, considered one of the hotspots for founders, investors, and tech enthusiasts in Europe, provided us with an ideal platform to pursue our goals: making investor contacts, exchanging ideas with leading experts in technology and AI, and presenting our brand.
Kickstart Europe – The conference's central theme
This year's Bits & Pretzels was held under the motto "Kickstart Europe." The goal was to bring the European startup scene closer together to strengthen Europe in global competition. The following questions were addressed: How can European cooperation be advanced? How will Europe be able to keep pace with the USA and Asia technologically? Especially in the fields of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, the message was clear: only through collaboration can we rev up Europe's engine of innovation.
Inspiration from prominent speakers
At Bits & Pretzels 2024, we had the opportunity to experience impressive presentations from renowned speakers:
As our Federal Minister of Finance, Christian Lindner spoke about the EU Listing Act, a package of measures to strengthen EU capital markets intended to make it easier for startups to go public. He also highlighted the importance of the recently launched WIN initiative, which ensures that at least 12 billion euros in venture capital will be available for startups by 2030, and emphasized the role of pension reform, which will enable capital market-oriented retirement provision. This reform offers startups further growth opportunities by simplifying access to capital.
Nico Rosberg, former Formula 1 world champion and now a successful venture capitalist, spoke about the future of artificial intelligence and how this technology could, in our opinion, become even bigger than the internet. His focus was on climate tech and investments in areas such as AI, defense, and robotics. He brings his experience as a racing driver directly into the world of investors, and he relies heavily on personal connections with his investors—for example, through events at racetracks.
Toto Wolff, Team Principal of Mercedes-AMG Petronas, gave us fascinating insights into the role of technology in Formula 1. Particularly impressive was the cooperation with TeamViewer, which is responsible for F1 analysis and VR training programs. Furthermore, Mercedes and AMG are actively investing in research into e-fuels, an important future technology for sustainable motorsport.

Our experiences and highlights
Our booth in the "Productivity & Efficiency" cluster was well-attended and attracted many interested visitors with the enticing scent of fresh popcorn. We had numerous exciting conversations with investors and tech experts and were able to forge valuable connections within the startup scene. AI and technology experts, in particular, showed great interest in our innovative platform, and we are pleased that we were able to initiate potential partnerships as a result.
In addition to the networking opportunities, the inspiring talks—especially on the topics of AI, digitalization, and capital market reforms—showed us how important it is to continue strengthening the European market. Bits & Pretzels 2024 was a complete success for us, and we are already looking forward to continuing to work on the connections and ideas we made.

Our conclusion on this year's Bits & Pretzels
Bits & Pretzels 2024 proved to us that the future of Europe lies in collaboration. Whether through the optimization of economic framework conditions, the exchange of innovative ideas, or the promotion of new technologies—we are proud to be part of this dynamic community. We look forward to incorporating the insights we gained in Munich into our future projects.
See you next time!
